What's up in Doughboy City? Nothing!

Before 1994 all buildings were removed from the former training area of Parks Range. The areal was ready for a new and different use. 

Some years later a Berlin newspaper reported about the plans for a beautiful housing complex at this place and a well known thing happened like so many times before at other places in this City. Berlin needs so many new homes. The prices of real estate were sky rocked, but nobody wants to have new houses or condos in its neighborhood. The people right there started a citizens movement against the using concept and these realy needed homes still exists on paper only. Parks Range looks really like a range. 

Perhaps the preparations for construction works will begin in 2022. Let's see how long the old U.S. flag pole will still stand there.
